What should I pay attention to when filling nitrogen in a pellet packaging machine? Common food safety issues can influence consumer choices. Consumers are more inclined to natural foods, and food additives are gradually approaching natural antioxidants. Therefore, during the use of pellet packaging machines such as potato chips and other fragile products, nitrogen filling must be used to reduce contact between the material and oxygen, thereby delaying oxidation and extending shelf life.
Nitrogen charging is actually the process of replacing the oxygen in the packaging bag. After the nitrogen filling is completed, the oxygen content should be less than 21%. During this process, the following points should be noted: (1) The purging must include the remaining space in the entire bag and bottle cap, otherwise, the residual air will have a greater impact on the residual oxygen.
(2) The time from the end of the purging to the capping should be as short as possible, otherwise, during this period, the oxygen in the air will quickly penetrate into the bottle, causing the residual oxygen in the bottle to increase. (3) It is best to use high-quality stainless steel pipelines or high-quality carbon steel pipelines for the nitrogen transmission pipeline of the granule packaging machine; at the same time, pay attention to the leakage points on the pipelines, valves and joints, otherwise the quality of nitrogen will be affected by the penetration of oxygen in the air. affected. (4) When the granule packaging machine is filled with nitrogen, it should be equipped with a closed or continuous operation machine; when manually filling nitrogen, due to the long operation time interval, it is easy for oxygen in the air to enter the completed bottle of the nitrogen filling operation, especially in the gland of the previous vacuum cycle.
