A check weigher is used to weigh packages in many industries. It is usually very precise and gives values in high passing speed. So, why do you need and how can you buy an ideal machine for your business? Please read on to learn more!

Why industries need check weighers
Most packaging industries often use check weighers with packaging solutions to enhance the productivity and efficiency of their plants. Other reasons why businesses need these machines are:
To meet customer expectations
Protecting your reputation and bottom line depends on consistently delivering high-quality items to customers. That includes checking the actual weight of a box against its label before sending it out the door. No one likes to discover that a parcel is just partially full or, worse, empty.
More efficiency
These machines are highly efficient and can save you a lot of labor hours. So, a check weigher is a fundamental installation on each packaging floor in all the world's packaging industries.
Weigh control
A check weigher ensures the actual weight of a box being sent matches the stated weight on the label. It is the job of a check weigher to measure moving loads. Products that meet its standards are accepted based on their weight and quantity.
How does a check weigher weigh/work?
The checkweigher includes infeed belt, weigh belt and outfeed belt. Here is how a typical check weigher works:
· The checkweigher receives packages through infeed belt from previous equipment.
· The package is weighed by loadcell under weigh belt.
· After passing through the check weigher's weigh belt, packages proceed to the outfeed, outfeed belt is with rejection system, it will reject the overweight and underweight package, only pass the weight qualified package.

Types of check weigher
Check weigher manufacturers produce two types of machines. We have described both under the following subheadings.
Dynamic Check Weighers
Dynamic check weighers (sometimes called conveyor scales) come in various designs, but they all can weigh objects as they move along a conveyor belt.
Today, it is common to find fully automated check weighers even among mobile devices. The conveyor belt brings the product to the scale and then either push the product forward to complete the manufacturing process. Or sends the product to another line to be weighed and readjusted if it is over or under.
Dynamic check weighers are also called:
· Belt weighers.
· In-motion scales.
· Conveyor scales.
· In-line scales.
· Dynamic weighers.
Static Check Weighers
An operator must manually place each item on the static check weigher, read the scale's signal for under, acceptable, or overweight, and then decide whether to keep it in production or remove it.
Static check weighing can be done on any scale, although several companies produce table or floor scales for this purpose. These versions typically have color-coded light indications (yellow, green, red) to show if the item's weight is below, at, or beyond the allowed range.
Static check weighers are also called:
· Check scales
· Over/Under scales.
How to buy an ideal check weigher?
Firstly you need to consider your needs budget. Also, you need to factor in the profit/ease you will achieve through the machine.
