A Korean kimchi provider required a packaging line that could address the issue of automatic weighing and filling of kimchi bottle, therefore Smart Weigh suggested a weighing and packaging system for pickled kimchi bottles that can fill 30 bottles per minute.

Weighing is more challenging since kimchi has an uneven shape and is highly sticky, very oily, and wet, making it easy to attach to the machine. Because of this, we created the automatic filling hopper to fill the storage hopper with material using photoelectric eye detection.

Screw feeding and scraper hopper for extra sticky products, also ensure the taste for pre-mixed food with sauce. Scraper gate prevents the products from being trapped into or cut. Pickles will leave leftover liquid on the hopper. Hopper is simple to install, disassemble, clean, and maintain.

The empty bottles are automatically transported by the bottle packing line, which also has the ability to rinse, dry, and fill bottles as well as lift and rotate caps to seal them. It also includes coding and labeling capabilities.

Optionally equipped with a check weigher and a metal detector to reject products having an incorrect weight or containing metal.
