Yunnan coffee needs to develop deep processing and change its packaging form to seize the international market

In big cities, a cup of coffee worth tens of dollars is common. However, in Yunnan Province, my country's main coffee producing region, the purchase price of coffee beans is about 15 yuan per kilogram. According to the figures released by the Yunnan Coffee Association, during the harvest season from 2015 to 2016, the average price of one kilogram of coffee beans purchased by enterprises from coffee farmers was between 13 yuan and 14 yuan, and the market trade price remained at around 16 yuan. Yunnan’s coffee production accounts for 99% of the country’s total, but coffee farmers can’t get a cup of coffee for one kilogram of coffee beans. Yunnan coffee is the second largest foreign exchange earning agricultural product in the province, but there are not many high-yield and high-quality planting bases, and a considerable amount of infrastructure is weak. Due to this restriction, it is in a low-yield and low-efficiency situation. The processing and marketing process is even more 'short board China's coffee world status depends on Yunnan China Coffee Engineering Research Center doctor Chen Zhenjia said that as of the beginning of 2016, China's coffee planting area exceeded 1.8 million mu with a total output of 140,000 tons, accounting for 1.5% of the world's total output. There are more than 70 countries in the world that produce coffee, and 21 countries and regions have an output of more than 100,000 tons. China is one of them. In China, coffee cultivation is concentrated in Yunnan, Hainan, Guangdong, Guangxi and other places. In the 1960s, my country’s coffee planting was dominated by Hainan. At that time, Hainan’s coffee planting area reached more than 200,000 mu. Today, more than 50 years later, China’s coffee planting is dominated by Yunnan, while Hainan’s planting area has fallen to less than 10,000. mu. 'Yunnan has the geographical environment and climatic conditions suitable for coffee growth. There are four major producing areas in Dehong, Baoshan, Pu'er and Lincang. The total coffee planting area is as high as 1.77 million mu, and the total output is 139,000 tons, accounting for more than 99% of the country. . 'Chen Zhenjia said. At present, nearly 60% of Yunnan coffee production comes from Pu'er. As of the end of 2015, the coffee planting area in Pu'er City has reached 755,700 mu, with an output of 57,900 tons. Coffee is exported to more than 30 countries and regions in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. As the epitome of the development of China’s coffee industry, the level of development of “Yun Coffee” determines the status of China’s coffee in the world. However, for a long time, Yunnan has mainly sold coffee beans alone, with insufficient matching with downstream processing, and the profit margin is small. In addition, coffee The planting area has developed too fast and the quality is difficult to control, which has gradually become a development worry. Cultivation, “rely on the sky”, lack of processing and packaging Unfavorable factors in every chain of the coffee industry have kept Yunnan coffee in a low-end state for a long time. The dilemma faced by'Yunka' starts from the coffee garden. 'At present, the coffee beans in Yunnan are of good quality only when they are on the tree. 'Farmers harvest the coffee groves unselectedly along the coffee forest. Coffee berries of different qualities are mixed into a pile, and there is no primary processing facility. They only rely on natural drying and fermentation when it rains. Basically relying on the sky to eat, the quality loss is extremely serious. ' 'S extensive planting methods reflect the lack and confusion of industry standards. Farmers’ own set of standards for planting, a set of standards for enterprise’s planting, and another set of standards for processing and production... In the eyes of many professionals, this chaotic situation has led to the general instability of coffee quality in Yunnan. This is the fundamental reason why Yunnan coffee prices have always been slightly lower than international prices. ' First, the quality of fresh fruit picking is poor, and there are too many immature fruits; the second is the lack of green fruit separation technology and equipment, and the quality of fresh fruits is uneven; the third is the lack of mechanical degumming technology and equipment, resulting in uneven quality; the fourth is the lack of mechanical drying technology and equipment. Hu Lu, deputy secretary general of the Yunnan Coffee Industry Association, told a reporter from the Workers’ Daily. The shortcomings of intensive and deep processing make Yunnan coffee mainly export raw materials. The reporter learned that even some foreign companies have specified that they only need raw materials from Yunnan, and even if local companies have certain intensive processing capabilities, they will not get too much trust from the other party. The low purchase price of raw materials has also hit the enthusiasm of growers. When the purchase price is too low, coffee farmers will choose to abandon the pipes or cut down the coffee trees and plant other crops. To make up for shortcomings requires further processing. Industry insiders told reporters that if you want to compete for the international voice in the coffee market, you must take the road of deep processing to affect the purchase price of international coffee futures. Practitioners in the local coffee industry in Yunnan have been seeking breakthroughs in this area. One or two leading companies need to stand up and take the lead in deep processing, changing packaging methods, and achieving diversity of packaging forms. Jiawei can produce bar coffee packaging machines. Packaging, hanging ear coffee inner and outer bag packaging machine packaging, coffee cake inner and outer bag packaging machine, etc. to enhance product quality, enhance international market competitiveness, and seize the international market.
