Moisture entering the terminal block of the weighing system will lead to the cable of each load cell and reduce the power capacitor in the middle of the power plug. This will cause the load cell excitation wires (the wires that carry power to the control module) to couple with the power plugs (the wires that carry the signal to the terminal block), resulting in electrical noise that can harm the weighing accuracy.
If there is moisture in your geographical environment, you should also use load cells that are airtight in both the strain gauge area and the cable channel. The strain gauge area should be closed for arc welding, and the cable channel is prone to moisture; because moisture will wick through the cable, there should be an arc welding welding spare part, which includes a wire glass to seal the metal composite material connection header. Multihead weighers that are subject to very large temperature changes or that are more than 50 feet apart from the terminal block to the net weight controller can be harmed by temperature fluctuations that cause a change in the resistance of the cable.
This is likely to cause excitation changes, which in turn cause transitions in the load cell signal. To prevent such temperature difficulties, a six-wire load cell cable can be used, which allows the load controller to take a proportional reading of the load cell signal, ignoring changes due to excitation changes.
