Ring Candy Packaging Machine Solution

We recently had the pleasure of working with a new client from US who was referred to us by one of our old customers. This project was centered around providing a comprehensive packaging solution for ring candies, involving both pillow bag and doypack packing machines. Our team's innovative approach and tailored design capabilities were key in meeting the unique needs of this project.

Client's Requirement

The client required a ring candy packaging machinie solution, specifically needing machines for pillow bag and doypack styles. Instead the traditional, the candies have to be packed by quantity: 30 pcs and 50pcs for pillow bags, 20 pcs per doypack.

The primary challenge was to pre-mix different flavors of candies before packaging process, ensuring a varied and enjoyable product for the end consumer.

Other suppliers recommend the counting machine to customer, considering that the customer mentioned that they will weigh and pack other products in the future, we recommend customers to use a combination scale. The multihead weigher has two weighing modes: weighing and counting grains, which can be switched freely, can well meet the needs of candy packaging machines.

Our Candy Packaging Machines Solution

1. Innovative Conveyor Belt System

To address the need for mixing different flavors before filling candy, we installed a belt conveyor at the front end of the packaging line. This system was designed to:

Mix Flavors Efficiently: The conveyor belt allowed for a seamless mix of different wrapped candy flavors.

Smart Operation: The operation or halt of the conveyor belt was intelligently controlled based on the amount of product in the Z bucket elevator bin, ensuring efficiency and reducing waste.

2. Vertical Packing Machine for Pillow Bags

* SW-P720 vertical form fill and seal machine

* Output conveyor

* SW-C420 Checkweigher

* Rotary table

For the pillow bag packaging, we provided a machine with the following specifications:

Quantity: 30 pcs and 50 pcs.

Speed and Accuracy: Ensured 100% accuracy with speeds of 31-33 bags/min for 30 pcs and 18-20 bags/min for 50 pcs.

Bag Specifications: Pillow bags with a width of 300mm and an adjustable length of 400-450mm.

3. Doypack Packing Machine

* Z bucket conveyor

* SW-M14 14 head multihead weigher with 2.5L hopper

* Support platform

* SW-8-200 rotary packaging machinery

* Output conveyor

* SW-C320 Checkweigher

* Rotary table

For the doypack packaging, the machine featured:

Quantity: Designed to handle 20 pcs per bag.

Speed: Achieved a packing speed of 27-30 bags/min.

Bag Style and Size: Stand up bags without zipper, measuring 200mm in width and 330mm in length.

The Outcome

The integration of the conveyor belt system and bag packing machines, it helps customer to save at least 50% labour cost. The client was particularly impressed with the precision and speed of both combination candy wrapping machine, which ensured high productivity without compromising on quality.
