Production Process

The process begins with a high-speed automatic denester that destacks nested clamshells and places them precisely onto a servo lug chain. Next, multi-head weigher, driven by vibration amplitude control and real-time load cells, doses products such as berries, cherry tomatoes, salads, nuts, confectionery or small hardware pieces. The dosed product is gently discharged through a rotating funnel that prevents crushing and bridging.

Once filled, clamshells advance through a series of servo-actuated closing stations that fold lids and apply low-force pressure to engage the living hinge without cracking. A continuous-motion heat-sealing module then applies controlled temperature and dwell time through PTFE-coated sealing bars, creating a hermetic, tamper-evident seal that withstands cold-chain distribution. Optional modules include modified-atmosphere gas flushing for shelf-life extension, vacuum-leak testing, vision inspection for lid alignment and barcode printing/labeling for traceability.
