It should be checked daily and its performance verified. So how to perform daily inspection and performance verification of multihead weigher? Let's take a look.
After confirming that the multihead weigher has been powered on and warmed up for a period of time (for example, 15min), you can start the multihead weigher's conveyor to run without load, operate the corresponding keyboard, and issue commands to adjust the zero point. Empty the carrier and observe whether the display value of the weighing indicator is zero, if not, set it to zero manually. Then the product can be tested, first place the product in the center of the carrier, read the displayed value, then start the conveyor of the multihead weigher to enter the dynamic test, let the product pass through the carrier, and the weight value read when the product dynamically passes through the carrier will be It is different from the weight value in the static test, if it is within the allowable error range, it will meet the requirements.
Pass the product through the carrier several times (eg 10, 20) and carefully observe the repeatability of the multihead weigher. If the reading error is large or the repeatability is not good, you should check whether there is a card in the mechanical part, whether there is a problem with the bumper and the installation of the carrier. Multihead weigher performance verification It is the responsibility of the user of the multihead weigher to ensure consistent performance of the multihead weigher over the life of the multihead weigher, and the supplier of the multihead weigher can assist the user of the multihead weigher to achieve this goal.
In general, performance verification recommendations should be performed annually or every two years by an authorized engineer to verify that the equipment still maintains the specified accuracy. The main content of performance verification is to carry out the following two tests: 1) accurate weighing 2) can be correctly rejected according to the weight deviation of the product. In addition to this, the following functions of the multihead weigher system should be ensured: 1) All additional warning/signaling devices 2) The safety system works.
As part of the multihead weigher supplier's regular service program, performance verification shall be performed by the multihead weigher supplier's technical service personnel to assist the user of the multihead weigher. They have deep knowledge and experience with multihead weighers, and the tools and equipment needed to perform performance verification to make this work.
