A very important part of the multihead weigher is the sensor, which is often referred to as the load cell. The load cell is a key part of the multihead weigher, and its function is no less than“human heart”, it is a key component for judging whether the weighing of the product meets the standard. If the weighing sensor fails, it will be difficult for us to estimate how much loss it will bring to the production line. Therefore, users must regularly test this key component. to reduce losses. Today, Zhongshan Smart weigh will take you to see how to troubleshoot the sensor failure of the multihead weigher. 1. Zero point output Check the zero point output, that is, the output value of the sensor in the case of no load, and test the output of the sensor under the condition that all loads (including static loads such as scales and force-transmitting parts) must be removed.

The zero point of the sensor should be the value obtained by testing in the state required by the design, installation and use of the sensor to prevent the wrong influence caused by the weight of the sensor itself. 2. Test insulation resistance Generally, we require to test the impedance between the lead wire of the sensor and the sensor body (elastomer, shell, etc.). Note, disconnect the sensor from the junction box and meter.

Debug the insulation test box (meter), then connect one end of the test lead to the sensor cable (output, input, shielded wire, etc.), and the other end to the sensor body (elastomer, shell, etc.). As a general requirement, this impedance≥5000MΩ. 3. Test bridge impedance Test bridge impedance is to test the integrity of the sensor bridge. When testing, the sensor should be disconnected from the junction box and other test equipment.

The input and output impedance test is to measure the impedance value at the input terminal and output terminal of the sensor in turn with digital multimeter test leads, and compare the test value with the value of the product certificate; the confirmation of bridge symmetry refers to the use of digital multimeter. Take the impedance between an input end and an output end, and measure them in turn to obtain 4 groups of impedance values. In a fully symmetrically compensated sensor, the extreme difference between the four groups of impedance values should not be greater than 1Ω (the value of a multimeter with low accuracy). must not be greater than 2Ω). 4. Test the sensor output Connect the sensor to the regulated power supply separately, and use the excitation voltage of 10~15VDC. Connect the output end of the sensor to the millivoltmeter (or set the multimeter to the DC millivolt gear), load the load on the loading end of the sensor according to the installation and use status of the sensor, and observe the output change of the sensor.
